Creating a unique heritage arts centre for Stratford

Escape has restored, preserved and enhanced ‘The Old Slaughterhouse’ to create a safe space in which people of all ages can come together to celebrate and explore local heritage.

Escape worked with Avonvale Construction with the support of local Quantity Surveyor Dawn Lodge and Architect Roger Abbott, they have been instrumenting in helping Escape realise its vision for this unique space. The renovation process was a journey of many challenges but we believe the transformation is truly incredible.

Escape has been supported by a range of local companies to help build a unique gallery space. We are extremely thankful for their support and sponsorship.

Thank you to Stratford Kitchen & Bathrooms, Barbers Flooring, Fiona Birch Landscape Design, Companion Stairlifts and LPS Parking Security.

Thank you also to Jigsaw, Jaeger and East for their patience during the renovation period.
